AI Agent Bots
How Do AI Trading Bots Work?
CryptonX bots operate using technical analysis, market data, and AI-powered algorithms to execute trades. Users can customize their bots by setting specific parameters.
CryptonX bots provide regular returns with the default settings, but customizations are user-specific, and CryptonX is not responsible for any risks or issues arising from these customizations.
Different Bot Types and Their Use Cases
- Long Bots: Aim to make profits by executing buy orders during rising market trends.
- Short Bots: Focus on profiting from price drops in declining markets.
- USD-M Future Bots: Enable leveraged trading in futures markets for larger profits.
- Spot Bots: Manage buying and selling in the spot market, suitable for lower-risk, long-term investors.
Bot Selection and Customization
On CryptonX, AI agents are categorized by the coins traded, market type (future/spot), and trade direction (long/short). Each agent has a default algorithm and AI support. These settings can be customized further in Advanced Mode.
Advanced Mode Settings
| Name | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Priority | Determines execution order among strategies; higher priority runs first. |
| Strategy | Select from predefined trading strategies; the chosen algorithm handles buy/sell actions. |
| Interval | Signal generation frequency (e.g., 1 hour). System-defined and not editable. |
| Amount to be entered in the transaction | Initial investment amount per trade (e.g., 100 USDT). |
| Maximum Number of Simultaneous Transactions | Caps active trades across cryptocurrencies (e.g., max 3). |
| Total Balance Required per Transaction | Auto-calculated total margin + additional levels; adjusting entry/levels updates this value. |
| Margin Type | Only “Isolated” margin supported; cannot be changed. |
| Leverage (Default) | Multiplier for the trade (e.g., 10× makes 100 USDT into 1,000 USDT). |
| Gain Rate | Target profit percentage (e.g., 5%). Can update during trade and via trailing stop. |
| Gain Percentage | Calculated as Gain Rate ÷ Leverage (e.g., 5% ÷ 10× = 0.5%). |
| Trailing Stop | When enabled, auto-adjusts stop-loss upward as price rises; fixed when disabled. |
| Additional Level | Toggle for level-based averaging entries when price hits specified levels. |
| Additional Level Type | - Liquidation Base: Adds margin near liquidation. - AI Driven: Adds using AI-predicted pullbacks. - Rate Base: Adds based on % retracements. - Line Base: Combines pivot, liquidation, and rate methods. |
| First Control Ratio | Initial threshold percentage for trailing stop activation. |
| Control Ratio | Subsequent percentage ratio for trailing stop updates. |
| Stop Loss Ratio | Distance from current price to place stop-loss for Long/Short positions. |
These settings help improve risk management and strategy optimization, allowing AI bots to adapt to personal investment preferences.
Advanced Mode | Add-on Strategies and Usage
Additional Level is an advanced mechanism to optimize risk management by adding to positions at specific price levels. CryptonX offers four add-on types:
- Liquidation Base: Adds margin when a position nears its liquidation level to reduce risk.
- AI Driven: Adds based on AI-identified pullback levels for optimal entries.
- Rate Base: Adds based on user-defined percentage retracements.
- Line Base: Combines Liquidation Base, AI Driven, and Rate Base strategies for multi-level additions.

Risk Management Strategies
Using Stop Loss
Stop Loss is a price level set to limit your losses. If the price hits this level, the system auto-closes the position.
- Manual Stop Loss: User-defined fixed level.
- AI-Powered Stop Loss: AI dynamically adjusts stop levels based on market analysis.
Trailing Stop for Profit Protection
A Trailing Stop updates the stop level as price moves in your favor to lock in gains. E.g., a 5% trailing stop raises the stop price by 5% when the market moves up, then holds if price reverses.
Leverage Management
CryptonX supports only Isolated Margin. Choose leverage carefully:
- Low (1×–5×): Lower risk, lower profit potential.
- Medium (5×–10×): Balanced risk/reward.
- High (10×+): High risk, high reward.
Determining Position Size
To manage risk, limit each trade to 2–5% of your total balance. This prevents significant losses from impacting your portfolio.
Using Diversified Strategies
Employ multiple bots for different market conditions. For example, run one bot for long trades and another for short trades to balance your portfolio.
